  2. On June 24, 2024, special assessment ballots on a pool replastering initiative were counted. In a high participation vote (17 in Favor; 3 Vote No; 2 Abstain) the resolution passed. The total special assessment was estimated to be $70,000 against the quotation and construction contract with Adam’s Pool Solutions. The special assessment invoice (adjusted slightly up to $1458.00 per Member) was paid by 22 Members. 3 members resigned. As of April 25, 2025, the replastering is complete with one inspection outstanding and last construction items underway. The pool is expected to open in early May, weather permitting. New members joining in or after 2025 will not be responsible for this special assessment.

  3. As of today, CVPA has one (3) Memberships currently open to reach the current 2025 cap of 25 total members and an active waitlist of about four (4) families. Membership applications will not be distributed or accepted until after the Annual Meeting on May 3, 2025, at which time dues and related membership fees for the 2025 season will be reviewed and may be adjusted by quorum vote. All membership terms, including total available slots and fee structures, are subject to change pending the outcome of that meeting.

  4. The following fees and dues are being proposed by the board, applicable to new member households joining in the 2025 season, subject to approval at the May 3, 2025 meeting. All amounts listed are subject to change and are not final until officially adopted by quorum vote at a duly noticed meeting of the full membership, in accordance with CVPA’s bylaws:

    • Expanding Membership: Up to 5–11 new members may be added, increasing our membership cap from 25 to 30–36*. This change is currently being voted on via secret ballot, to be counted at the May 3 meeting.

    • Initiation Fee: $2,075* one-time, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

    • Annual Dues (2025): $975* for the first five years; after that, dues will revert to the standard rate in effect at that time which may be higher or lower.

    • Volunteer Work Buyout Option: A $250* opt-out fee (payable at the annual meeting) will be introduced for those unable to assist with seasonal maintenance. That said, we’d love your help if you’re able! We estimate about 4 hours of volunteer time per season. Tasks may include helping with weekly pool cleanup (1 hour), tree and brush clearing, small repairs, or serving on the board or a committee.
